Installation
Installation is automatic. Select Open when downloading a ".msi" file from this website,
or double-click it after downloading.
(Any method that causes the ".msi"
file to be opened by Microsoft Installer will work.)
Installation notes
- BridgeComposer version 4.0 and later require Microsoft Windows XP or later with Internet
Explorer 6.0 or later. Users with older systems may use BridgeComposer version
3.8.3 (see the Archive page).
- Dealer and ScorePost
(see Bonus Software) run on Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista.
- Programs will appear in the Bridge Club Utilities folder of the Start menu.
- The programs on this website are distributed as ".msi" (Microsoft Installer)
files. You must have the Microsoft Installer already installed on your
computer in order to install the files downloaded from this website.
Most computers will have Microsoft Installer already installed as a
result of previous software installs.
In any event, the current version of Microsoft Installer is available for download from
www.microsoft.com.
- To uninstall, use the Add/Remove Programs control panel (or, on
Windows Vista, the Programs and Features control panel).
